Days off will be Tuesday and Wednesday, set once training is complete. Job Description Sanitation Associates are responsible for warehouse cleanup work, keeping buildings/warehouse in a clean and orderly condition through various methods performing both light and heavy cleaning tasks such as sweeping, waste collection and removal, floor cleaning, and various surface cleaning duties in common areas such as locker rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and outside elements using heavy equipment. They also assist the receiving department as needed and perform other tasks assigned. New hires will be trained on equipment including electric pallet jack and forklift. The position requires the ability to give direction to the group. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General housekeeping including sweeping floors and cleaning up debris around the warehouse. Cleaning up standing water, breaking down boxes, and recycling. Scheduled cleaning of freezer, restrooms and lunchroom. Using a forklift to empty garbage and check for pest control issues. Completing the daily SQF inspection log. Working independently and communicating issues. Managing all other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to use a pressure washer. Ability to work at tall heights using a scissor lift. Ability to read/write/speak English. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (33–36 °F). Ability to work safely and professionally in a fast‑paced environment with frequent heavy equipment and pedestrian traffic. Preferred Skills And Experience 1 year of previous janitorial experience preferred. Pallet jack/forklift experience a plus.
