National Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Originator – Phoenix, AZ Job Description Evaluate and sell mortgage solutions across the United States. Advise clients on the home buying or refinance process and assist through the loan application to closing. Engage with current and potential customers to educate them on managing their mortgage finances. Achieve or exceed specific loan origination goals. Recommend U.S. Bank’s full product suite and refer customers to other U.S. Bank areas. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills and Experience Strong sales aptitude. Self‑motivated with ability to achieve or exceed production goals. Exceptional customer service skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Previous sales or customer service experience strongly preferred. Consumer Direct Lending experience preferred. Licensing and Regulatory Requirements This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration in accordance with the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Applicants must undergo a criminal background and credit check; failure to maintain satisfactory registration conditions may result in rescission of the offer or termination.
