Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Arizona Department of Education Standard K-12 Certification
• Valid fingerprint clearance card
• Previous experience teaching in special education settings (resource, behavior, or adaptive program experience a plus)
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional methods for students with varied needs
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Modify curriculum and instruction to align with student strengths and areas of need
• Use data-driven strategies to support student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff for student success
• Participate in professional development and new teacher orientation
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state regulations
