Experienced Service Plumber

Job Description

Job Description

What You'll Do

As a Service Plumber with Upshaw Plumbing Service, you'll diagnose residential plumbing problems, perform repairs and replacements, communicate your findings with homeowners, and help customers make informed decisions about their plumbing systems.

We expect our plumbers to take the time to understand why the customer called , properly evaluate the problem, and present clear solutions rather than rushing through the appointment.

You'll also document your work, maintain your vehicle and work area, communicate with the office throughout the day, and make sure each customer knows what was done before you leave.

Our Commitment to Customers

Our core values are:

Reliability • Honesty • Communication • Integrity • Efficiency • Timeliness

Those aren't just words on a wall. They're the standard we expect our team to operate by.

We typically do not work nights or weekends , and we believe our employees should have a life outside of work. At the same time, when we make a commitment to a customer, we take that commitment seriously.

Sometimes that means staying a little later to finish a job properly rather than leaving a customer with an unfinished plumbing problem. We aren't watching the clock when a customer is depending on us—we finish what we committed to do.

What We Expect

Applicants should have 2+ years of residential service plumbing experience and be comfortable diagnosing and repairing common plumbing problems, including water heaters, toilets, faucets, drains, water lines, pressure issues, fixtures, and other residential plumbing systems.

A clean driving record, valid driver's license, professional appearance, good communication skills, and the ability to pass required background and drug screening are also expected.

Most importantly, you must be someone we can trust to walk into a customer's home wearing the Upshaw Plumbing Service name.
