Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge. The Staff Nurse II is an experienced nurse who shall orient new staff, precept students, and assume Relief Charge Nurse duty as oriented and assigned. Education As determined by California Board of Registered Nurses. Experience A minimum of 1 year worked in an acute care hospital setting Completion of applicable Hospital and department specific RN competencies (within 3 months of hire/transfer). Licenses and/or Certifications State of California RN license and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS. ACLS and PALS must be completed prior to completion of orientation and independent assignment. SC County MICN, TNCC, CEN preferred. Other Basic Keyboarding Skills and willingness to develop computer competency within six months. Fluent in English. Spanish language skills desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
