Design Architect

Position: Architect Category: Architecture Schedule: Monday - Friday Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate independent work requiring judgment, initiative, and experience in the application and adaptation of architectural techniques. Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, customer organizations, or projects. Experience in architectural design, and the resolution of architectural technical, code, regulatory, and safety issues. Manage special tasks and provide leadership, training, and consultation to co-workers. Conduct construction document reviews as required. Assist in the preparation of task estimates; perform studies and prepare analysis as required. Interface with other design/construction disciplines, customers, as necessary. Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or BIM Technology. Experience with mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design layouts/drawings. Education and Experience: Bachelor of Architecture with a combined 3+ years’ professional architectural construction experience in relevant design/field experience required. Working towards obtaining license. Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to architectural design. Compensation: Salary range $75,000 - $100,000 plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, group life insurance, Simple IRA with 3% company match, vacation, sick, and paid holidays.
