Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures in nuclear medicine
• Utilize independent judgment and initiative in the diagnostic process
• Set up and operate imaging equipment and position patients
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
• Teach and mentor fellow Nuclear Medicine staff as needed

Requirements of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• Current ARRT-N or CNMT certification or willingness to obtain
• BLS or equivalent certification
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
