As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a patrol vehicle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.94 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements for controlled areas. Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
