Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across various age groups, ensuring assessment, safety, and effective documentation. Supports surgical patients with specialized perioperative tasks and promotes patient-centered practices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough and systematic assessments of patients from Pediatric to Geriatric populations, ensuring appropriate care delivery.
• Execute direct patient care activities, demonstrating clinical competence and knowledge of emergency procedures and equipment.
• Maintain complete, accurate documentation of nursing interventions, patient progress, and education in compliance with guidelines.
• Uphold professional practice standards by adhering to policies, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with the care team.
• Respond professionally and courteously to patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a confidential and patient-centered environment.
• Follow safety protocols, including universal precautions, patient identification, and proper transfer techniques, to ensure a safe care environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and one year of ICU experience.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Demonstrates strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
• Ability to support perioperative care, including pre- and post-operative assessments and patient teaching.
