Diesel Technician

Job description: Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance, with experience working in a dealership environment. This position requires a commitment to high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service skills. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including brake repair, shocks, and struts. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of vehicles. Troubleshoot electrical issues within diesel engines. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while performing repairs. Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and quality. Experience Proven experience in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance is essential. Familiarity with Caterpillar engines is highly desirable. Previous experience working in a dealership setting is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical systems related to diesel engines. Ability to fabricate parts and components as necessary for repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
