Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• ACLS certification
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
