Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Infosys Consulting's Oil & Gas Practice is looking for an experienced Digital Consultant with Upstream O & G sector experience. As a Principal Consultant – Project Management, you are responsible for working with senior business/IT stakeholders to deliver complex business/IT projects or programs.RESPONSIBILITIES:Leverage knowledge of project management processes, such as Waterfall and Agile methodologies to deliver projectsUncover business requirements, process improvements, and insights, then translate them into actionable outcomesFacilitate discussions with the client to elaborate on the areas of proposed improvementsDefine the problem concisely and hypothesize the proposed solutionPerform quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive the proposed solutionConsolidate the findings from the analysis and present solutions to the clientDevelop and present a plan to implement the recommended changesEnsure projects get delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budgetLead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibilityDevelop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projectsPerform risk management analysis and report/escalate to stakeholdersManage the software development projects and facilitate sprint releases.Manage projects and programs with a focus on achieving results with concrete and actionable ROI.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Has a solid experience in project/program(s) management of Oil & Gas projectsIs a self-directed and an independent contributor to the team, as well as works seamlessly with the teamHas a strong understanding of the latest developments in Digital space for the Oil & Gas sectorHas a deep knowledge in at least one of the Oil & Gas process areas such as exploration, development, production, and facilities, midstream, downstream, and chemicalsHas a solid experience in Project Management processes areas, project lifecycle management, and advanced skills in using Agile tools such as MS Project, ADO, JIRA, etc.Has a solid experience, advanced skill in working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, VisioIs certified in PMP/PRINCE2/CSM/SAFeHas a bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent from an accredited institutionIs willing to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locationsU.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
