Location: Deerfield, Illinois (Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a .Net Developer for a remote position. The role involves working with a service layered on .NET 8, contributing to asynchronous services, background workers, and a large automated testing suite. The developer will also engage with front-end development using React and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services built on a .NET 8 architecture, including the HubRxStreamService host, Services, Data, and Models layers.
• Implement and manage asynchronous services, dependency injection, and background workers for hosted and long-running tasks such as report queues, schedulers, and data seeding.
• Write and optimize strong, dialect-aware SQL, including CTEs and materialization, beyond basic ORM CRUD operations.
• Work with multiple database providers, including SQL Server, Oracle, and Databricks, with internal state managed on MySQL 8.
• Contribute to a large automated testing suite, creating contract tests for SQL, Hub ID, and cross-source data paths.
• Participate in front-end development using React 19, React Router, hooks, and TypeScript for the product user interface.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in C# / .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Experience with asynchronous services, dependency injection (DI), and background workers.
• Strong SQL skills, not limited to ORM usage.
• Familiarity with multiple database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, Databricks, and MySQL 8.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of React and TypeScript for front-end development.
