Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. As an associate you will help simplify health care for people, businesses and communities by providing exceptional customer service and a positive in‑store experience. Essential Functions Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively resolving service issues. Focus on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact and assistance in locating items. Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks and credit card transactions in accordance with company policies. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed. Support opening and closing store activities as needed. Provide customer support across all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational. Assist pharmacy personnel on regular shifts whenever required, as opportunities for growth and career development. Embrace and advocate new CVS services and loyalty programs that help people on their path to better health. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Physical Requirements: Remaining upright on your feet for sustained periods. Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly. Visual acuity sufficient to view a computer terminal, read, and inspect small parts/details. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in retail or customer service. Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 29 hours Time Type Part time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $16.90 – $23.90 per hour, depending on experience, education, geography and other factors.
