Experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab
Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement


Description:
We are specifically looking for nurses that can scrub.
Candidates do not need to operate fluoroscopy.
RCIS certification is preferred but not required.
This position will operate more in the radiologic technologist role.
The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Candidates are required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the cath lab.
Profiles with IR only experience will not be considered.
Nurses will be scheduled for 4 ten-hour days each week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Average call shifts will be 8 to 10 per month, including one full weekend of coverage.
Pending licenses will not be accepted.
Please keep requests for time off close to one week.
Locals are not accepted; candidates must be outside of a 75-mile radius.
Candidates are required to have experience with a variety of interventional procedures, including cardiac stent placement and diagnostic catheterizations.
Experience must include both cath lab and IR lab procedures.
Familiarity with charting in EPIC is required.
Additional skills include infection prevention and monitoring of procedural sedation.
Patient populations include adults and geriatrics requiring cardiac catheterization.
The unit staff is supported by interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
Candidates should be prepared to float between different areas as necessary.
