Job Description
ICU - Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Schedule
- Shift: Nights
- Shift options: 36 or 48 hours
- Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per schedule period

Assignment Details
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 per week

Requirements
- 1.5+ years ICU experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- Skills: Ventilator management, vasoactive/cardiac drip titration, central/PICC/arterial line care, blood product administration, dysrhythmia management, ABG interpretation, neuro/CV post-op care, EVD/ICP monitoring

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and symptoms, responding to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and care plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Pending NM/Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start)
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Orientation modules to be completed onsite (RN modules ~4-6 hours)
