Looking for meaningful work that fits around your life? RISE Ltd. is looking for PRN Direct Support Professionals in our Elkader and Oelwein locations!

As a PRN Direct Support Professional, you’ll have the flexibility to pick up available shifts that work with your schedule. PRN is a great option for someone looking for a flexible second job, additional hours, or an opportunity to work without committing to a regular weekly schedule. Available shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends across RISE Ltd. programs.

But this is more than just a flexible job. As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll spend your time working alongside some pretty great people. DSPs support individuals with disabilities in building independence, reaching personal goals, developing life skills, participating in their communities, and doing the things that are important to them.

Depending on the program and shift, responsibilities may include assisting with daily living skills, personal care, medications, transportation, community activities, household tasks, documentation, and other individualized supports.

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
• Valid driver’s license  
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks. 
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, coworkers, supervisors, and other members of the support team. 
• Willingness to support individuals with a variety of needs, which may include personal care, daily living skills, medication assistance, transportation, and community activities. 
• Ability to complete required documentation accurately and timely. 
• Willingness to complete all required training provided by RISE Ltd. 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. 
• Must demonstrate patience, respect, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting individual choice and independence. 
• No previous DSP experience required—we will provide training!
