If this description sounds like you, read on! Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):- Must be licensed (in good standing) as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois.

- Must possess a current CPR Certification.
- Prefer 2-3 years nursing experience
- Dependable
- Administer all medications, treatments, blood sugar monitoring and other medical care to residents as prescribed by the physician/psychiatrist, according to the facility's specific policies and procedures.
- Provide emergency care services, as needed.
- Document in the patient's medical record.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to all residents, as needed.
- Provide resident education regarding medications, treatments and other medical care, as needed.
- Notify physicians of abnormal resident condition, lab values, vital signs, behavior, incidents, and/or reactions to medications.
- Ensure that vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight are taken properly.
