Physician Assistant- ENT

WMCHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Department of Otolaryngologyat Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York.This is an exciting opportunityavailable to qualified Physician Assistants with excellent clinical decision-making, exposure to quality of care measures, and strong procedural skills.

The Surgical Department utilizes Physician Assistants as part of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high-quality healthcare. Candidates will undergo cross training in surgery and trauma/critical care.Surgical PAs provide coverage in the Surgical ICUs and give support to the Trauma ICUs and OR.The institution provides a full spectrum of surgical services in which the Physician Assistant isa valued member.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Consults
• Emergency Room Consults
• Inpatient Care
• Practice with a team of 3rdand 4thyear Residents
• Will be educated in all aspects of Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery including inpatient/outpatient surgical assisting in OR
• Will share with Resident on call responsibilities

Qualifications / Requirements:

Candidates must have a current license in the state of New York. We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of one-year in-hospital experience with ENT experience preferred.
