About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 4 x 10s, Saturday - Tuesday Hours per Shift: 7:30am to 6:00pm Experience: 2 years preferred License: Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: - Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if obtained license on or after January 2016 or foreign equivalent. - Two years of Physical Therapy experience preferred. Description: Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients. Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties. Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines. Supervises assigned assistants. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Ensures adherence to safety and wellbeing requirements for associates and patients. Receives all required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions applicable. Participates in E-Verify as required.
