Sunnyvale, California, United States - Corporate Functions Apple’s Applied Machine Learning team builds systems for large-scale data science applications across Apple’s business lines. The team works on high-impact projects using cutting-edge open source technologies. Description Join Apple's AML Team as Engineering Program Manager. This role requires product and project management skills, a solid engineering background, and the ability to collaborate across multiple Apple teams. Responsibilities include driving operational efficiencies, managing large complex projects, partnering with Wallet Payment and Commerce, Apple Services, and Data Science teams, and leading engineering teams to enhance the AML platform and develop new integrations. The manager will deliver solutions that meet Apple’s business goals while maintaining the highest industry and Apple Information Technology standards. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of project management experience delivering projects Knowledge of various project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile/Scrum Bachelor’s Science Degree in Computer Science or foreign equivalent with 5+ years of experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Science Degree in Computer Science. Master’s in Business Administration. Project Management certification is a plus. 5+ years of Technical Program Management/Engineering Management experience, including work with operations teams, vendors and contractors. Demonstrated ability to build project summaries, roadmaps, creative concepts, impact analysis and prioritization to influence stakeholders. Detailed knowledge of key architecture components of distributed computing systems, software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. Depth of technical understanding in cloud, big-data platforms and machine learning. Proficiency in Keynote or PowerPoint for effective communication at various organizational levels. Compensation and Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of the total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600 and will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees may become shareholders through discretionary employee stock programs, receive discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and purchase Apple stock at a discount under the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
