Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and operation of electrophysiology procedures within a specialized cardiac unit. Provide technical support and ensure quality patient care during complex interventions. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate EP lab equipment including Carto, Cardiolab, Medtronic, Abbott, and Boston Scientific systems.
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety during EPS, ablations, and device implantation procedures.
- Scrub, monitor, and circulate during electrophysiology procedures independently.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and adhere to safety protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and ensuring proper sterilization procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and effective patient care.
- Possess a valid RCIS, RCES, CVT, or RT certification.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in cath lab or electrophysiology settings.
- Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Demonstrate proficiency with EP procedural equipment and protocols.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work day shifts, with availability for call as required.
- Gain experience in a technologically advanced, high-volume electrophysiology lab.
- Enhance clinical skills through exposure to complex cardiac procedures.
