## Regional Fleet Maintenace SpecialistApplylocations: McArthur, OHtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR100069**Join the Family** - Come work for an exciting company offering great benefits, challenging opportunities, and colleagues who feel more like family.***Key Responsibilities and Duties**** Supervise garage maintenance activities, including scheduling, work assignments, and performance monitoring.* Coordinate with LLC operations managers to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities based on operational needs, equipment condition, and safety requirements.* Ensure timely and accurate completion of repair orders and maintenance logs using fleet maintenance software.* Conduct inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance.* Provide technical guidance and support for bulk equipment repairs and diagnostics.* Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and evaluating maintenance personnel.* Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.* Ensure adherence to DOT, OSHA, MSHA, and company-specific safety and maintenance standards.* Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, certifications (e.g., cargo tank inspections), and training.* Assist with audits and regulatory inspections.* Oversee parts inventory and procurement processes to ensure availability and cost control.* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts, tools, and external repair services.* Monitor tool and equipment condition and ensure proper calibration and storage.* Champion the implementation and adoption of the fleet maintenance software system across all assigned locations.* Provide training and support to local teams on software usage and best practices.* Utilize the software for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.* Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.* Prepare reports for all assigned locations to track performance, costs, and compliance.* Other duties as assigned.***Education and Experience**** High School Diploma or GED required* Technical certification preferred.* 5+ years of experience in fleet or heavy equipment maintenance.* Experience with diesel engines, DOT-regulated vehicles, and off-road equipment.***Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**** Familiarity with confined space and cargo tank inspection standards.* Familiar with fleet telematics systems – PeopleNet or Platform Science.* Familiar with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – TMT(Trimble).* Registered Cargo Tank Inspector or willingness to obtain.* Strong planning and time management capabilities to meet deadlines and maintain schedules.* Effective problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement cost effective, quality-driven solutions.* Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.* Ability to effectively communicate with various departments and team members, including contractors and suppliers.* Ability to wear and work-in required personal protective equipment (PPE).* Ability to climb ladders and stairs, lift and carry up to 60lbs, work at heights, work within confined spaces, and navigate through rough terrain.* Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, stand, walk, and crawl regularly or for extended periods of time.* Ability to use hand tools and work with small parts and tools.* Ability to read gauges, diagnostic screens, and identify parts.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook* Excellent leadership and organizational skills.* Knowledge of safety and environmental laws and regulations.* Ability to lead change and support technology adoption across diverse teams.* Commercial Driver's License (CDL)***Work Environment**** This position supports our field operations and will be exposed to all elements of weather.* Work location will be both in office and out within the field locations and customer sites.* A valid driver's license is required.* Real ID Compliant driver's license or passport required (for flying).* Ability to travel on a scheduled or unscheduled basis approximately 30-50% throughout the assigned locations.**Austin Powder** is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
