Job Details Job Location: Rosenthal Way - Cincinnati, OH 45204 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Day Job Category: Grocery Job Description Summary Ensure the day-to-day activities of Liberty Street Market and Bea Taylor Market are completed. Greet, help, and assist market customers and manage the food orders to provide healthy/nutritious food for the customers. This position will work out of both markets as directed by the market manager. Essential Job Functions Lead/assign Market teammates and volunteers’ task to be completed. Manage sanitation of back stock, floor, and cooler/freezer areas. Review item usage and place product orders via on-line ordering. Inventory product and ensure proper rotation. Manage/follow SOP’s and task list for employees and volunteers. Intake/check-out of shoppers. Other duties as assigned by manager. Additional Responsibilities Open/Close market as needed; restock shelves, clean/sweep/mop floor, and removal of debris, plastic, cardboard. Work special events to include weekends as needed. Ensure carts are available and if needed bring them in from outside. Qualifications Education: High school diploma, or GED. Experience: 3-5 years of grocery store experience. Experience with setting up displays or creating floor plans for a convenient or grocery store. Skills & Abilities: Work productively with frequent interruptions. Communicate professionally/effectively with relevant members of the department as well as other parts of the organization and customers. Must be able to make decisions based on limited information or staff to ensure shoppers have a positive experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
