Details Float pool position covering all PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac patient population Patient conditions include STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain (C/P), and cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) cases Administers cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit at lower acuity levels Patient ratio of 1:3–4 EMR: Epic (experience required) Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week No on-call responsibilities Block scheduling is generally not approved 4 weekend shifts per month required Requirements Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact state license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of PCU or similar cardiac nursing experience in a comparable-sized facility Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume hospital environment with complex and severe cases required Epic EMR experience required Additional Information This is a Level 1 trauma center serving a diverse, high-acuity inner-city patient population Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered Local candidates are accepted for this position Minimal time off (RTO) requests will be accommodated during the contract American Traveler Job ID P-724633.
