Hours: Sun, Mon, Tues (with some Saturdays) 4:00PM-4:30AM OR Wed, Thurs, Fri (with some Saturdays) 4:00PM-4:30AM Pay: Based on experience We are hiring a skilled Optical Lab Technician with hands‑on experience in surfacing, finishing, and mounting. The ideal candidate thrives in a production‑driven environment, maintains high accuracy standards, and understands the importance of turnaround time and product quality. What You'll Do: Bench/Mounters: Inserting lenses into frames, edging, beveling, tinting, and ensuring lenses meet correct power, axis, and prism standards. Inspection: Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards. Surface: Using state-of-the-art CNC optical machinery. Handling lens surface processes like taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing. AR Department: Operating state-of-the-art Anti‑Reflective Coating Machinery, sorting and inspecting lenses, and ensuring they meet quality standards. Qualifications: No specific educational level required – your experience speaks volumes! A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with high volume optical manufacturing is needed. Precision and accuracy are paramount in this role. This position requires intermittent focused effort, coupled with organizational and planning skills. Benefits: Taking Care of our People!
