Orthopedic Surgeon

MaineHealth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Rockport is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding, team-based practice serving the coastal communities of Knox and Waldo Counties. This position is ideal for a general orthopedic surgeon with a strong interest in knee procedures, who values a collaborative environment and diverse clinical practice. Position Details Scope: General Orthopedics with opportunity to build elective and procedural volume in knee-focused care. Practice Sites: Clinical and daytime OR responsibilities shared between Rockport and Belfast, ME. Call Coverage: 1:10 weekend call rotation and 1:4 weekday call rotation; call coverage based out of Rockport, ME. Qualifications MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Fellowship training welcomed but not required; interest/experience in knee procedures preferred. Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine. Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and community engagement. The annual base salary for this position is $612,192. Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives.
