Payroll Analyst

Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote Compensation: $65,000–$85,000 Base + 5% Bonus Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire About the Opportunity We are partnering with a leading global manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join its corporate team in Alpharetta, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with international payroll experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and supporting payroll operations across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UKG and global payroll processing, preferably supporting Latin America (LATAM), with Brazil experience being a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities Process and support weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll operations across multiple countries and regions. Prepare, calculate, reconcile, and maintain accurate payroll records, including payroll distributions, direct deposits, and adjustments. Support global payroll operations, including multi-state, multi-site, and international payroll processing. Partner with international payroll providers and vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll execution. Resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and escalated payroll issues. Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll reconciliations, reporting, and payroll tax activities. Maintain compliance with country-specific payroll regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls. Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, and international teams to resolve payroll issues and improve processes. Analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and recommend opportunities for process improvement. Support payroll system enhancements, implementations, and special projects as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field. 3–5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience. Experience with UKG payroll systems is required. Global payroll experience supporting multiple countries is required. Strong understanding of international payroll practices, compliance requirements, and payroll accounting fundamentals. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis. Experience managing payroll discrepancies, reconciliations, and payroll-related inquiries. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple payroll deadlines. Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams across different time zones. Highly Preferred LATAM payroll experience, particularly Brazil. Experience working with international payroll vendors and third-party payroll providers. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC). Experience with Workday. Experience supporting payroll system implementations or process improvement initiatives.
