Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse

Location: New Hampshire

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3x12hr Days; totaling 36 hours/week

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to float among various departments as needed. This role is for candidates who are willing to work in a critical access hospital environment and have previous travel experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient health status, responding to changes appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in departmental and facility-wide initiatives to improve care quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Current state nursing license in New Hampshire.
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment.
