Workday Time Tracking Lead

Workday Time Tracking Administrator – $130,000 + Bonus

Onsite - Arlington (VA) or Houston (TX) - Relocation Package Available

We are seeking an experienced Workday Time Tracking Administrator to join a well-known organization and help them manage the Time Tracking module after recently going live with the Workday suite. This role will take ownership of the Workday Time Tracking workstream, with a particular focus on project-based time tracking for hourly and non-exempt employees. The successful candidate will play a key role in configuring, maintaining, and continuously improving the Time Tracking module.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the administration and configuration of Workday Time Tracking, with a strong focus on project-based time entry and ensuring employees can accurately record time against the appropriate projects
• Support the ongoing maintenance of Time Tracking for the engineering function initially, helping the organization gain visibility into how employees are allocating their working time
• Manage and update project availability within Workday as business requirements, projects and locations change, including reviewing available project selections and using EIBs where appropriate
• Partner with HRIS, HR and business stakeholders to troubleshoot Time Tracking issues, identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure the system continues to meet operational requirements
• Develop and maintain reports and data analysis to support Time Tracking activities, provide insight into time allocation, and assist stakeholders with informed decision-making

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Workday Time Tracking experience, with strong functional knowledge and practical administration/configuration capability
• Demonstrable experience supporting or delivering Workday implementations, including the configuration, testing, and ongoing administration of Time Tracking
• Strong understanding of Time Tracking for hourly and non-exempt employees, including project-based time entry and maintaining changing project requirements
• Experience with Workday EIBs and the ability to manage data updates efficiently;
  experience with Workdayreporting and data analytics would be highly advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with a collaborative approach and a willingness to work across the wider Workday landscape, including potential exposure to Absence and Payroll
