About the Facility

This full-service acute care hospital offers comprehensive emergency, surgical, cardiovascular, orthopedic, and specialty services to the adult patient population served. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support continuous obstetric and gynecologic care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care throughout each designated assignment.

About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide clinic-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage with 24-hour call responsibilities (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) on an on-site basis, seeing approximately 20 patients per clinic session while managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed. Clinical responsibilities include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, suction D&Cs, and treatment of ectopic pregnancies, ovarian torsion, and abnormal bleeding. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured at a 1:4 rotation, with minimal expected callbacks. Support staff includes an OBHG hospitalist, surgical assistants, and 3 to 4 nurses per shift. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this position.
