Barista / Bartender

We are seeking a passionate dog lover with service industry experience, preferably in a restaurant or cafe setting, to join our team. DOG PPL is a vibrant and inclusive community-driven space dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs and their owners. Located in Santa Monica, our canine social club is a haven for dogs and their owners alike, offering a range of amenities, experiential events, and spacious play areas. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and consistency Guest Experience: Engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing recommendations and personalized service. WORkspace standards: Maintain a clean and organized cafe and bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working condition Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels and communicate any supply needs to management Health & Hygiene: Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health codes Qualifications & Skills Experience: Previous experience as a barista / bartender or in a similar role preferred interpersonal skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed RBS / LEADS certification or willingness to obtain upon hiring Reliable transportation Must be 21 or over Competitive hourly wage Complimentary DOG PPL membership Health insurance coverage dependent on hours worked Opportunities for professional development and growth A fun and dog-friendly work environment DOG PPL is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
