Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing advanced respiratory therapy services to pediatric, neonate, and infant patients in a Level 4 NICU and pediatric cardiac units. The role involves working night shifts with weekend rotations, ensuring high-quality patient care while adhering to facility policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer respiratory treatments and interventions to neonatal and pediatric patients as prescribed.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, certifications, and licensing requirements.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to emergencies and ventilator alarms to stabilize patients.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RRT certification and valid South Carolina license or pending status with proof of application.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric, neonatal, and infant respiratory care.
  
  
• 
  Credentialed in BLS, PALS, and NRPC.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Epic or similar EHR systems.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to work a 3x12 night shift schedule, including holidays and on-call availability as needed.
