The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico and looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Clinic Office Coordinator to join a growing healthcare team.

In this role, you'll be more than just the first point of contact - you'll play a key part in creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. You will be responsible for all the front office procedures to facilitate smooth patient registration and checkout. What You'll Do

  • Welcome patients, families, andvisitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Verifies appointment information,provides directions and responds to inquiries as appropriate
  • Manage patient check-in/check-outand ensure a smooth office flow
  • Answer phones, assist callers, androute calls and messages appropriately
  • Schedule appointments andcoordinate referrals with healthcare providers
  • Determine insurance eligibility andcomplete pre-certification information for referral appointments as needed
  • Contacts emergency services and lawenforcement as directed by healthcare providers during urgent or emergencysituations
  • Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits with patients/guardians to ensure clear understanding of coverage and/or constraints effecting treatment
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, andoutstanding balances accurately
  • Copy and attaches insurance cardsto registration documents to support accurate and timely claim processing
  • Prepare and issue receipts foraccount payments
  • Maintain up-to-date patientregistration and insurance information (primary and secondary) to ensureaccurate billing
  • Handles prescription and refillrequests, distributes medications to patients, and maintains accurate logsin compliance with office policies.
  • Support providers and patientsduring urgent or emergency situations when needed
  • Ensure all patient information ishandled confidentially and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a ClinicOffice Coordinator or Medical Receptionist preferred
  • Strong communication and customerservice skills
  • Ability to multitask whilemaintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Comfortable working in a busyhealthcare environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patientconfidentiality practices
  • Positive attitude, reliability, anda team-first mindset
