Job Overview MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel registered nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Schedule and Compensation Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Active RN license. Degree from an accredited nursing program. BLS certification. Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step‑Down setting. Other requirements as determined by the client facility. Responsibilities Assesses patient needs, signs, and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from healthcare members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses. Documents the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions. Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education. Revises and documents the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in the medical plan, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions. Benefits Weekly pay and direct deposit.
