One of Kansas City's most established electrical contractors is looking for an estimator who can own a bid from first takeoff to final number.

Must-Haves

• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, commercial construction preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, materials, and industry standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 a strong plus
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

• Experience estimating projects $10M+; candidates who have worked large-scale bids will stand out

What You'll Do

• Build accurate labor and material estimates for electrical construction projects from drawings, specs, and schedules

• Solicit, evaluate, and condition subcontractor and supplier pricing

• Price specialty and standard equipment; maintain and update cost databases

• Identify risks, assumptions, and clarifications and communicate them clearly to project leadership

• Support value engineering and preconstruction pricing efforts

• Hand off bids cleanly to project teams for execution
