We are seeking licensed California attorneys with experience in Professional Liability, Employment, and FINRA defense to join our Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 5+ years of experience who specialize in defending against all types of Professional Liability claims, including employment and FINRA defense matters. Discover Your Role At QPWB, our Professional Liability Practice Group is composed of seasoned attorneys dedicated to assisting a diverse range of clients, including employers, carriers, third‑party administrators, and self‑insureds, in the defense of employment actions. Responsibilities Review and prepare summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients. Draft motions and attend hearings to represent clients in court. Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions as needed. Draft initial reports, interim reports, pre‑trial reports, trial, and appellate activity. Respond to discovery requests and draft discovery‑related motions. Regularly attend court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses. What You’ll Bring To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements: Admitted to practice in the State of California. Possess analytical and problem‑solving skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively. Demonstrate excellent research abilities and strong written and oral communication skills. Draft and respond to discovery‑related motions. Regularly attend court appearances. Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses. Draft motions for summary judgments.
