License: RCIS / ARRT - Required

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or years of equivalent experience required.


Description:
The Cath Lab technician works in a multidisciplinary lab.
The technician supports patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures.
The technician performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment.
The technician applies prescribed procedures for operating radiology imaging equipment.
On-call days are based on the need for facility coverage, with approximately 10-15 call days per month, including 2 weekends.
