Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other vital assessments, adhering to established protocols.
• Interpret test results with accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform essential maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Comprehensively document all processes, assist in training new personnel or students, and maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment, abiding by regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout employment.
