Make a meaningful impact supporting students in grades 5-8 by providing speech-language therapy services in an educational setting. This contract-based opportunity starts as soon as possible and runs through May 15. You’ll work two days a week, totaling approximately 8 hours per week, at a middle school near Clementon, NJ. The position focuses on delivering speech and language interventions, contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation, and tracking student progress toward established therapy goals. With a manageable caseload of about 48 students, you’ll play a vital role in helping learners thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold or qualify for certification to work in a school setting as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA under supervision
• Previous experience serving school-aged children is preferred, but recent graduates and clinical fellows are welcome
• Solid understanding of IEP development, goal setting, and ongoing monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both students and school staff
• Ability to travel to the assigned middle school; virtual work is not an option for this role

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to students across a range of needs in grades 5-8
• Provide input on IEP meetings, goals, progress, and student performance
• Maintain accurate records of therapy, assessments, and student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to coordinate student supports
• Adapt interventions based on individual student goals and progress data
