This position involves providing outpatient physical therapy services in an outpatient setting with occasional coverage for inpatient or emergency department consultations. The role offers a flexible schedule aligned with outpatient care needs, primarily focusing on adult and school-aged patient populations. Job Details: Schedule: 0800-1630 (Monday to Friday), with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Physical Therapy, Maine State Licensure, BLS certification, at least 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience, and residency or work authorization in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with manual therapy, exercise science, patient education, and adaptive equipment training; outpatient experience; ability to support within a department staffed with Licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. Support within Department: Currently staffed with three licensed Physical Therapists and available Physical Therapist Assistants. Supervisor support available on-site weekdays. Technology/Equipment: Use of Cerner electronic medical record system. Flexibility for rare inpatient coverage within the same building. Additional Information: The outpatient department performs evaluations and treatments, typically seeing 8-10 patients daily. Dress code is business casual or scrubs, and parking is free. The role involves treating mainly adult and school-aged patients with various post-surgical, neurological, work-related injuries, and orthopedic conditions.
