Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Why This Assignment Stands Out 3-Day Work Week: Enjoy 4 days off every week Consistent Schedule: Monday–Wednesday only Acute Care Experience: Work in a hospital-based CT department Advanced Practice: Exposure to contrast studies & complex imaging protocols Great Location: Lafayette, CO – close to Boulder & Denver Unit Details Department: Computed Tomography (CT) Setting: Acute Care Hospital Location: Lafayette, CO 80026 EMR/PACS: Advanced electronic imaging systems Environment: Fast-paced, team-oriented clinical setting Job Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures using ionizing radiation Ensure accurate patient identification, order verification, and preparation Conduct scans per department protocols and physician orders Evaluate images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic accuracy Administer contrast media safely under supervision Maintain compliance with radiation safety (ALARA) standards Educate patients and ensure comfort throughout procedures Document procedures, patient data, and any incidents accurately Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure optimal outcomes Maintain infection control and sterile techniques Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday – Wednesday Shift: 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Evenings, 12-hour shifts) Hours: 36/week On-Call: Rotating call required Holidays: Assigned as needed Requirements ARRT (R) (CT) Certification – Required BLS (AHA) – Required Active State License (if applicable) 1–2 years of CT experience (Acute care preferred) Strong knowledge of sectional anatomy, CT protocols, and positioning Experience with contrast administration and injector systems Preferred Qualifications Experience in hospital-based CT settings Strong ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Comfortable handling emergent patient situations Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment Confident in independent decision-making Thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment Committed to patient safety and high-quality imaging Important Notes Radiation badge required (preferred to bring existing badge) Rotating call + holiday coverage required About Bestica We are a trusted provider of solutions in Information Technology and Healthcare sectors to the DoD, Federal and Commercial markets.
