Fence Foreman / Installation Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Typically 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday, four 10-hour shifts)
Travel: Required (3–4 nights per week for select projects)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fence Foreman / Installation Supervisor to lead installation crews and oversee commercial, industrial, and government fencing projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can immediately step in, supervise crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise fence installation crews on commercial and industrial projects.
• Install a variety of fencing systems, including:
• • Chain Link
  • Ornamental Iron
  • Steel Fencing
  • Security Fencing
  • Structural Steel
• Read project plans and ensure installations meet specifications and quality standards.
• Dig and set concrete fence posts.
• Perform welding and fabrication for fence framework, gates, and structural components.
• Stretch, frame, and install chain-link fencing.
• Operate construction equipment including forklifts, skid steers, excavators, and other machinery.
• Maintain a safe and productive job site while ensuring OSHA and company safety standards are followed.
• Coordinate daily activities, manage crews, and ensure projects remain on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fence Foreman, Fence Supervisor, or Lead Fence Installer required.
• Experience installing multiple types of commercial and industrial fencing.
• Strong welding and steel fabrication experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and excavators.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Welding certification is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check for prevailing wage and federal projects.
• Willingness to travel overnight (3–4 nights per week) as needed.
