Title: EMT Adjunct Instructor/ Paramedic Technology Program Salary Range: $34.00 per contact hour Contract Term Length: Not Applicable Standard Hours: to be determined Work Location: Hybrid FLSA Status: Exempt College: Jefferson Community & Technical College Campus Location: Jefferson Community College Department: Allied Health Job Summary Jefferson Community and Technical College is seeking an adjunct instructor who will provide part‑time didactic and clinical instruction while supporting student success through academic advising, curriculum development, and coordination of clinical placements. This position is for the fall semester 2026. Job Duties Part‑time didactic and clinical instruction in the program Academic advising for current and potential program students Program course and curriculum development Internal service to the college via committee participation and engagement as a faculty member Continued growth as an instructor via professional development Coordination and monitoring of student clinical placements at local healthcare facilities Maintenance of accurate and up‑to‑date records according to all JCTC and accreditation policies and regulations. Other duties as assigned by the program coordinator and Dean of Allied Health. Minimum Qualifications EMT adjuncts EMT Certification (KBEMS) Level 2 instructor credential (KBEMS) CPR instructor (AHA) – if not already certified, must be obtained within one year. Preferred Qualifications An associate degree or higher Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA); college policies, procedures, and practices.
