Description
American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist with cardiovascular experience to independently scrub complex cardiac and thoracic cases in a high acuity operating room setting.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room unit specializing in cardiovascular surgery
- 10-hour day shift schedule, 40 hours per week with on-call requirements
- High acuity surgical environment requiring independent scrubbing in first or second scrub roles
- Cases include CABGs, valve repairs, aortic repairs, ECMO/Impella, chest tubes, and thoracic procedures such as VATS, lung resections, and pericardial windows
Requirements
- BLS certification required
- CVOR experience required
- Must be able to independently scrub complex cardiac and thoracic surgical cases
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Assist surgical team in any requested capacity including turnover assistance and anesthesia tech support
- Function confidently and independently in a high acuity cardiovascular surgical environment
- Support team-based approach with flexibility to assist in multiple scrub roles as needed
