Food & Beverage Server

Responsibilities:

• Ensure guests have an exemplary experience through warm welcomes, anticipatory service, and fond farewells.
• Provide outstanding service to guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
• Maintain full familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service, and confidently upsell when possible.
• Take food and beverage orders, process payments, and present accurate checks using the MICROS system.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the pool deck, restaurant area, and all service stations.
• Restock towels, empty towel bins, and ensure pool areas are free of debris and trash.
• Maintain and replenish the complimentary beverage station.
• Ensure umbrellas, tables, salt and pepper shakers, sugar caddies, and other poolside amenities are clean and presentable.
• Assist in seating guests, answering phones, and cross-training among other food and beverage outlets as needed.
• Communicate and enforce pool rules with grace and kindness to ensure guest safety.
• Report facility issues promptly to the Office Coordinator, immediate supervisor, or manager.
• Follow safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions or work practices.
• Attend department meetings and required company training sessions.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years
• High energy with a strong service mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Conversational English-speaking abilities required.
• Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers license and TABC certifications.
• Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Prior serving and cash-handling experience preferred.
• MICROS experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions
