In this role, you will support spacecraft, and/or payload electrical integration tasks. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Electrical systems requirements development & analysis  System, subsystem, and unit-to-unit electrical block diagram generation Power and command & telemetry hardware resource management and allocation Electrical Connectivity development for spacecraft harness design Fusing, signal integrity, and electrical interface compatibility analysis Cable & Harness Design Provide feedback regarding impacts of possible cost and/ or schedule changes Work and execute independently with some technical oversight Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices Provide support to Manufacturing and Spacecraft Assembly and Test This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.Basic Qualifications for Design Integration Electrical Engineer - Level 3:Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of relevant experience; OR PhD in STEM with 1 year of relevant experienceMust have active SCI access at the time of application or an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company, prior to the start dateExperience with aerospace hardware design and integrationExperience in electrical troubleshooting of components and equipmentExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ProjectBasic Qualifications for Design Integration Electrical Engineer - Level 4:Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree in STEM with 6 years of relevant experience; OR PhD in STEM with 4 years of relevant experienceMust have active SCI access at the time of application or an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company, prior to the start dateExperience with aerospace hardware design and integrationExperience in electrical troubleshooting of components and equipmentExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ProjectPreferred Qualifications:Spacecraft and/or payload electrical design integration, cable & harness design, and/or command & telemetry database development background with experience through the entire system lifecycle from concept, design, production, integration, test, launch, to operation supportDemonstrated multidisciplinary skillset with the ability to work with manufacturing and other engineering disciplinesUnderstanding of electrical interface standards such as MIL-STD-1553, LVDS, RS-422, etc. Previous experience with software tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB, Mentor Graphics, Routed Systems Design (RSD), HarneSys, CATIA V5, NX, Siemens Capital, Microsoft Access, Visio Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
