Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Medical City Denton Nuclear Medicine Technologist Shift: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:00. Call will be shared with other technologists starting at 16:00-07:00 Monday - Friday and 24 hour call on Saturday and Sunday. This position is not eligible for new grads at this time. Job Summary Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercises excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment QC, completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, and is involved in department initiatives. Qualifications Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC. At least 1 year of experience. Background as a Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer (RT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT). Associate Degree.
