Job Title Mental Health Therapist Licensed (MHTL) – Posting #26673 Compensation Hourly Rate: $35.35 Annual Salary: $73,528.00 Summary Sea Mar Behavioral Health seeks a full‑time licensed therapist for its program in Lynnwood, WA. The MHTL will provide individual and group counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning, and will coordinate care with medication providers, primary care physicians, and community agencies. Duties and Responsibilities The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will:

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide referrals for psychiatric services.
• Deliver case management and coordinate with other care teams for patients with chronic illness, intensive outpatient program, or high utilization.
• Work with CDMHPs, inpatient facilities (e.g., Western State Hospital), and ensure appropriate hospitalization authorization and discharge planning.
• Provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment plans; lead therapeutic groups.
• Supervise other clinicians in progress toward licensing and conduct clinical chart reviews.
• Support compliance with WACs, RCWs, and clinical contracts.

Education and Experience Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work with coursework in psychological diagnostics. Four or more years of clinical experience in the field. Active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health at all times; meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP). Maintain an active Washington State Mental Health Counselor License, Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Independent Clinical Social Worker License. Additional Requirements Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintain certification throughout employment. Complete a TB test annually and at the time of hire. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
