Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CVOR RN with open heart surgery expertise to join our cardiovascular surgery team. The ideal candidate will provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and intraoperative nursing care to patients undergoing open heart and cardiovascular surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure proper aseptic techniques and sterile procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, procedures, and interventions.
• Assist with positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, specifically with open heart surgeries.
• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, surgical procedures, and instrumentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle high-stress situations.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
